Drilling through hard basalt to depths exceeding 60 metres, the D800 has been delivering consistent Reverse Circulation (RC) metres with impressive reliability and power. The rig is part of Castle Drilling’s fleet expansion and represents one of the first Hyundai Everdigm units operating in Australia.
The project marks the start of three projects for the D800, totalling around 14,000m across a range of geological conditions — a true test of the rig’s versatility and endurance.
Through Hyundai Everdigm Australia, Feaver Group provides full commissioning, training, and technical support for each rig, ensuring local contractors like Castle Drilling have access to responsive service and reliable parts supply.
With several major drilling campaigns ahead, Castle Drilling’s D800 will continue to demonstrate Hyundai Everdigm’s capability to deliver Simply Better Solutions — reliable performance, straightforward operation, and local backing from Feaver Group.
